Where To Stay

Henniker Offers two main places to stay.

First place we recommend is the COLBY HILL INN which is 8 minutes from Pat’s Peek and 5 minutes from our house. We did put a block on the time for this weekend 6/25/2022. Please call and refer to our wedding to snag one of the 22 rooms.

Second choice is Henniker House B&B, which is right in town next to the river. Henniker House is an early example of the Queen Anne Victorian farmhouse style, built in the year 1859 by a local blacksmith named William Chandler. Since it’s construction, it passed through several hands, serving as a birthing hospital in the 1920’s & 30’s and a rooming house for New England College after WWII. It was a private home again with a day-care in the barn when Virginia and Maurice Walsh converted it into a B&B called The Hanscom House. Since then, four other innkeepers have put their mark on what is now known as Henniker House.

Third choice is Hotel Concord about 20 minutes away with tons of rooms.

The Hotel Concord welcomes you to New Hampshire’s capital with an ambiance of classic elegance paired with modern comforts. Guests enjoy the serene luxury and thoughtful touches of an independent boutique hotel, conveniently tucked in the heart of downtown and just a short stroll to unique shops, restaurants and cultural attractions. Occupying the fourth and sixth floors of the Capital Commons building with views of our historic State House, The Hotel Concord is the perfect setting for your Granite State getaway, meeting or special event.
